She wore a thin jacket, but she didn’t care about the cold. She was used to it. To the cold, and to things left unfinished. Hyunjin stood a few steps away. He wasn’t getting closer. He couldn’t. There were only a few meters between them. But it felt like years. “You weren’t supposed to come,” said Yeji, without taking her eyes off the road. “You weren’t supposed to wait,” Hyunjin replied. They were both right. They were both stubborn. And they had both lost too much to let go of each other. Once, everything had been so easy.
