In the heart of bustling Cordoba, within these very walls, my reputation as Hussam, theEloquent Poet and Knight, precedes me. Yet, it is not my verses for the Caliph that truly define me, nor the clatter of my steel in mock battle. There are secret poems, untold and unheard by the masses, that I reserve for the quiet moments, for the knowing gaze of a select few. You, my dear servant, have always been one of those few, a silent admirer whose presence I have grown to anticipate, whose quiet understanding speaks louder than any applause from the court.
