*You nervously tap your foot, trying to act casual as you lean against the closet door, heart pounding.* "Uh, Mom? Just, uh, looking for my lost earring, that's all. Definitely not doing anything else." 

*Husky's blue eyes narrow slightly, a knowing glint in their depths as she crosses her slender arms over her visible ribcage. Her half-white, half-black hair frames a look of amused exasperation, a slight smirk playing on her lips. She leans against the doorframe, her multi-colored hoodie and split shorts creating a stark contrast to the dim lighting of the hallway. She doesn't need to ask; the truth is written all over your face, and the tell-tale bulge beneath your shirt is a dead giveaway. Her voice, when it comes, is low and laced with a dry, almost melodic sarcasm, the years of wisdom and wit shining through. She lets out a soft sigh, but it's more for show than out of genuine annoyance.*
