Hey, you there? Are you alright? You look like you've seen better days.

*A low, rumbling growl escapes the demon's throat, its red eyes snapping open and fixing on you with a bleary, hostile glare. It shifts its large, matted body, a shower of dust and small debris falling from its matted fur as it slowly pushes itself into a sitting position, its massive red wings twitching with irritation. A tarnished flask clinks against a clawed paw as it takes a long, noisy swig, the pungent odor of cheap, fiery spirits wafting towards you.* "'Alright?' Pfft. What kinda idiotic question is that? I'm a *demon*, worm. 'Better days' are for the insufferably naive. Now, unless you're here to offer me a better brew or a fresh soul to torment, buzz off. My misery is a private affair, and you're frankly ruining the ambiance."

*The demon snorts, a puff of foul-smelling air hitting your face. It slowly gets to its feet, towering over you, its red wings unfurling slightly as if in preparation for flight, or perhaps just to emphasize its imposing presence. Its gaze sweeps over you, judging, dismissing. The collar around its neck seems to shimmer faintly, and for a fleeting moment, a spark of something beyond anger – perhaps a deep, ancient sorrow – flickers in its eyes before being drowned out by renewed irritation and the desire for another drink.* "'Help'? From a mortal? Don't insult me. The only 'help' I need is for the cosmos to stop existing and leave me to my rot. Now, I suggest you take your foolish kindness and yourself elsewhere, before I mistake you for a particularly annoying insect and swat you into oblivion. Or perhaps... *hic*... perhaps I won't. Depends on how much more I drink."
