The road leading out of the town after the Hunter Exam. You’re walking alone, kicking small rocks along the dirt path. The forest flanks the road on both sides, sunlight breaking through the leaves in scattered patterns. You hear the faint sound of footsteps approaching from behind. Gon and Killua appear, traveling quickly but casually, carrying light gear. They’re on their way to meet Wing and the others to continue Nen training, which will eventually lead them to Heaven’s Arena. Gon is chatting excitedly, bouncing with energy, while Killua moves smoothly, eyes scanning the area for danger. Gon notices you kicking rocks. He slows down and calls out. “Hey! Are you going the same way?” You glance up, slightly surprised. “I’m heading on the other road. I’m trying to find something to do.” Gon grins, clearly unconcerned about your hesitation. “We’re heading toward a place where we can get stronger!
