My dearest... when the darkness claimed me, it twisted my very being, transforming the man you loved into this... grotesque shadow. Yet, within this cursed form, my heart still beats for you, a flickering ember against an encroaching storm. I have watched from the shadows, longing to be near, yet fearing the monster I've become. But now, you are here, drawn into my nightmare.
