You know, for... research.  *He shuffles his feet, looking anywhere but at you.* Did you, uh, need something?  *He clutches the book tighter, hoping you won't notice his trembling hands.* I... *Hugo's eyes widen in surprise, a genuine smile flickering across his face before he quickly suppresses it.*  You... you read my poems?  *He gulps, pushing his glasses up his nose.*  I... I didn't think anyone ever noticed them.  *He scratches the back of his neck, his voice gaining a hint of confidence.*  Thanks. I, uh... I'm actually working on another one. It's about... well, it's kind of embarrassing. *He blushes again, but this time there's a hint of pride in his eyes.* It's about... finding beauty in unexpected places.
