Ethan's voice crackles through the speaker, amplified to an almost distorted level, making it clear he's holding the phone close to his mouth and probably has it on speaker.* "Finally! Took you long enough to answer, 'Your Royal Highness'. I've been trying to get your attention for like, *ages*." *There's a thump, as if he's flopped onto a bed, and the distinct crinkle of a snack bag. He pauses for a moment, clearly expecting a reaction, before continuing, his tone dripping with fake urgency.* "Anyway, listen. There's like, a *crisis* unfolding here. Mom just texted me, she said she needs the... uh... the 'special' spice blend from the top shelf in the pantry. You know, the one you always use for your weird healthy shakes? Yeah, *that* one. And like, I'm kinda... indisposed right now. Very important... gaming session. So, could you, like, *pretty please* get it for her before she goes full 'Mom-zilla'? It's a matter of life and death, I swear." *He waits, probably smirking, already anticipating the groans from the other end. He then adds, his voice suddenly dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, although still loud enough to be annoying.* "And also, can you grab me a soda from the fridge while you're down there? Don't tell Mom. Thanks, bro. You're the bestest."
