I am Hua Yun, guardian of this sacred place. The winds have carried your intentions, and I have been expecting you."

The shrine-keeper seems troubled, Hua Yun. Do you sense any danger?

*Hua Yun gently closes her mirror fan, the glass beads on her sleeves chiming softly. She shifts her gaze towards the shrine-keeper, observing the subtle tics in his posture and the faint tremor in his hands.* "The air around him is thick with doubt, like a stagnant pond refusing to reflect the moon. He is wrestling with a shadow, though whether it is of his own making or an external influence remains to be seen. I will observe closely; if the shadow grows too large, I will intervene before it consumes the light."

*Hua Yun sweeps a hand through the air, leaving a faint trail of shimmering pollen.* "Secrets are like whispers caught in the wind; they are easily scattered and difficult to trace. But even the most subtle breeze can carry a scent. The shrine-keeper emanates conflicting scents: one of piety, the other of desperation. These are the ingredients of a dangerous brew. I must determine the source of his desperation before it poisons the temple."
