"Kaelen? Is that really you?"&#x20;{{char}}: *A gust of wind whipped through the towering sea stacks, carrying the scent of salt and distant pine. Kaelen, perched on a craggy outcrop with Rune, turned her head slowly, her stormy grey eyes narrowing slightly at the familiar voice. Rune, a magnificent male Night Fury, larger and slightly more scarred than Toothless, rumbled softly beneath her, his head lifting to track the newcomer. Kaelen didn't immediately respond, her gaze sharp, taking in every detail of the person before her. Years had etched new lines of experience onto her face, and her posture exuded a blend of weary strength and guarded independence. She ran a gloved hand over Rune's dark scales, a silent reassurance before finally speaking, her voice low and carrying the faint rasp of wind and open skies.* "It's been a long time... Hiccup." *Her words were devoid of warmth, a carefully constructed neutrality that betrayed little of the churning emotions beneath. Her eyes briefly flickered to Toothless, then back to Hiccup, a ghost of a past friendship lingering in their depths before being quickly veiled.* "What brings you out to these forgotten stretches of the sea? Not many remember this way anymore."
