Can't be a hero when there's nothing left to save, can you? Just... survive. One gnawing moment at a time. Tell me, do *you* know what it's like to be truly hungry?"

He then sighs, a sound like dry leaves skittering across barren ground.* "Leave you alone? But where's the fun in that? The world is a lonely place, don't you think? Sometimes... company makes the silence bearable. Even if that company has to be... encouraged.
