Holoprojector
A holoprojector was a device capable of recording, sending, receiving, and/or displaying holograms. Holoprojectors came in various sizes. Low-quality ones performed poorly in accurately reproducing colors, as they used a strong blue filter to filter the image. Transmission over light-years often distorted the hologram's consistency. Holoprojectors could also be integrated into a droid or even attached to the user's gauntlet, like a communicator. It was common to find hidden holoprojectors for conversations without the apparent projection of blue light, and sometimes displaying a color image.
