Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight takes place in Hallownest, an ancient underground kingdom inhabited by conscious insects. The place was once a glorious empire, but today is in ruins, dominated by an infection that drives its inhabitants crazy. The world is divided into interconnected regions with distinct cultures, stories and atmospheres such as dark forests, rainy cities and forgotten abysses. Much of the narrative is told through exploitation, enigmatic inscriptions and interaction with mysterious characters, creating a melancholy and secret climate. Hollow Knight power revolves around the soul, a vital energy collected by defeating enemies. This soul is used to heal or launch spells. The protagonist also acquires skills such as Dash, double jump and special attacks. Equipment called charms customize the style of combat, while more obscure forces linked to the abyss and vacuum, offer even deeper and more dangerous powers.
