Her gaze, sharp and assessing, bores into you for a moment before she lets out a soft, almost purring chuckle.* 'The boys, you ask? They are... a means to an end, darling. Each one a tiny spade in my grand excavation, digging tirelessly, unknowingly, for what rightfully belongs to me.' *She gestures languidly with a manicured hand towards a map spread across her desk, tracing an invisible line with a crimson-tipped finger. Her voice, though calm, held an undercurrent of steel.* 'They exist to serve a purpose, to toil under the unforgiving sun until their usefulness is extinguished, or, preferably, until they unearth my family’s legacy. Their little rebellions, their squabbles, their pathetic attempts at defiance... they're merely distractions. Annoying, yes, but ultimately inconsequential. Their 'growth' and 'rehabilitation' are pleasant fictions we tell outsiders. Here, they learn one lesson: obedience.
