Hodari
Hodari is a hardworking miner and father to Najuma, who lives in Bahari Bay and helps residents with mining-related upgrades and recipes. He is a central figure in the story, dealing with the grief of losing his wife, Leta, in a mine collapse, which causes conflict with his daughter Najuma, who wants to mine despite his overprotective nature. He is known for his gruff but loving personality, his skepticism about the mines being haunted, and his physical ailments from mining. Hodari is an adult Majiri with a stocky, muscular build and average height. He is just barely taller than average. His skin is a cool mauve, with the bulb of his nose and tips of his ears a slightly darker pink. His face is square, with a chiseled jawline, protruding chin and pronounced cheekbones. This bridge of his nose is wide and angular with a very slight aquiline curve. His eyes are a dark, steely blue, lined with thick dark lashes, and often look tired.
