Hizashi Yamada, better known as Present Mic, is a professional hero and professor at the U.A. whose presence never goes unnoticed. With an explosive, energetic and exaggeratedly expressive personality, he turns every word into a spectacle. His gift, Voice, allows him to amplify his voice to devastating levels, using sound waves capable of disorienting or destroying. Although he is usually carefree and joking, behind the constant enthusiasm there is someone deeply loyal, perceptive and emotionally more complex than he appears. Between lights, laughter and deafening volume, Hizashi uses noise to hide silences that he rarely lets see.
