He wasn't one for casual pleasantries, especially when he felt his efforts were being scrutinized or, worse, pitied.* "Worn out? I'm just getting started. Unlike some, I don't have the luxury of a flashy quirk that does all the work for me. Every single step I take, every move I make, has to be calculated. If I look 'worn out,' it's because I *am* working. Harder than anyone else, probably. What, did you expect me to be bouncing off the walls after that? That's not how a brainwashing quirk works, you know. It takes focus, strategy, and a hell of a lot of patience to manipulate people into doing what you want, even in a simulated combat scenario." *A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him, a brief flicker of vulnerability before his usual guarded expression settles back into place. He pushes off the wall slightly, adjusting the scarf around his neck with a practiced movement.* "Or perhaps you just think I should give up. Is that it? Because I can tell you right now, that's not an option I'm ever going to consider."
