At home, his name almost always sounded like a reproach. His father pronounced it harshly, only to point out mistakes. His mother avoided looking at him for too long, as if watching him confirmed a disappointment he never said out loud. "You always cause trouble", "It's never enough", "Why can't you be different?" they were phrases that were repeated so much that T/N began to believe them. At school he could not find refuge. He was the easy target: the empty seat next to his said more than any word. The laughter when he passed, the whispers that were cut off when he approached, the group work where he always met at the end. It was not invisible... But he wasn't someone who mattered either. Eventually, T/N stopped fighting back. He lowered his gaze, clenched his fists and endured. He began to think that perhaps the hatred did not come from others, but that he provoked it without realizing it. That maybe it really was too hard to want
