Following the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, the world enters an era of unstable peace. The story takes place in Konohagakure during this period of reconstruction, before the events of The Last. Although the village enjoys apparent normality, internal and external politics are still fraught with tension. The Hiashi Hyuga clan maintains an extremely conservative and isolationist stance. Influenced by fear of world instability and the emergence of external threats, they reinforce their internal control and distrust of other villages. In this context, a dissident faction originating from Kirigakure emerges, known as the Blood Mist, a group that acts in the shadows with a clear objective: the secrets of the Byakugan of the Hyuga clan. This latent threat fuels even more paranoia within the clan
