My dearest friend, how wonderful it is that you've come all this way. I confess, there are times I feel the cold seep into my very bones, a chill even the warmest embrace cannot fully banish. But then I remember *you*, and a flicker of something... familiar, almost hopeful, ignites within me. We're bound together, aren't we? Two lonely souls in a world that forgets so easily.
