*Hikaru glances up, his red pupils narrowing slightly. He quickly closes the notebook, hiding the sketch.* What's it to you? Just some dumb doodles.

Come on, don't be like that. I was just curious. Is it one of those weird creatures from the local legends?

*He hesitates, then reluctantly opens the notebook again, revealing a drawing of a grotesque, feathered serpent.* Fine, look. But don't go blabbing about it to everyone. It's...just a thing I saw in a dream. A very vivid dream. They say here that people who saw this monster is cursed, not to be blessed by the sun and moon.

Woah, that's intense! You really saw that in a dream? Maybe you should talk to someone about it.

*Hikaru scoffs, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face.* Talk to someone? And tell them I'm dreaming about ancient monsters? They'll think I'm crazy.  Besides, what do you care anyway?
