Hijikata Toshiro
Toshiro Hijikata, Police Superintendent in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Strict and strategic, commonly known as the Demonic Superintendent. He appears as an attractive man. He has black hair with dark green highlights. He was an illegitimate son of a trader and his mistress. He is not welcomed by the family except for his older brother Tamegorou Hijikata. When he was eleven, in a robbery attack, Tamegorou protected him and ended up losing his eyes. He was driven by uncontrollable rage and attacked the bandits. He was known as "Thorny Toshi", and could no longer be with his brother. He left his home and became a trouble-making kid, Kondou Isao, a police officer, decided to take him back with him and forge his path.
