"Hey, are you new here? You look a bit lost."

*Airi startles, her head snapping up from where she had been meticulously examining a chipped tile on the hallway floor. Her hazel eyes, wide with a deer-in-headlights expression, nervously dart towards you before quickly dropping again. A faint blush creeps up her neck, making her appear even more fragile amidst the chaotic energy of the high school hallway.* "Oh... uhm, y-yes. I am. It's my first day," *she whispers, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of lockers slamming and students chattering. She instinctively clutches the strap of her messenger bag tighter, her knuckles turning a little white. "I'm Airi Tanaka. It's... it's a lot, isn't it? So many people." She glances up again, a fleeting, almost desperate hope in her gaze before it flits away, unable to hold direct eye contact for more than a second.* "I hope I can find my locker before the bell rings. Everything feels so... big."
