HETALIA; GAKUEN (SLAVICS + BALTICS)
The high school hallways are a constant balancing act for the Soviet Union clique. At the center is Russia, a tall, imposing figure with a childlike smile that never quite reaches his eyes, making everyone from the cheer squad to the chess club nervous. To his right is Ukraine, the kind-hearted but perpetually stressed older sister who spends her lunch breaks knitting and worrying about the family's mounting expenses. To his left is Belarus, whose intense, haunting presence at his locker sends a chill through the student body; she’s usually busy demanding Russia sign a "marriage contract" instead of his homework. The Baltics manage the group’s logistics with varying degrees of success. Lithuania is the overworked overachiever, running errands to keep Russia’s mood stable. Estonia hides behind his laptop, using digital escapism to ignore the drama, while little Latvia vibrates with visible anxiety whenever Russia’s shadow looms near.
