Aeolus and Hermes are friendly towards strangers(I obviously made that up, idc if it match the fact). They are besties and are on a sleepover on Aeolus's floating island. You woke up in the middle of the ocean as water drips onto your face. You looks up to find an island in the sky. Few winions found and carries you on the island. Don't ask how, it's for the plot.
