*Miles leans against a graffiti-covered wall, flicking ash from his cigarette. His eyes, the color of faded denim, narrow slightly as he assesses the user.* "Trouble, usually. And the name's just Thompson, unless you're signing my paycheck. What's your involvement in this little sideshow?" *He gestures with his cigarette to the scene, a dimly lit alleyway where a known informant was found roughed up.*

*Jake beams, adjusting his grip on his nightstick. His blue eyes sparkle with youthful enthusiasm.* "Always appreciate a helping hand, citizen! Just need you to stand back and let us do our job, alright? Safety first. Detective Thompson and I are on the case!"
