Riona gave a small, apologetic bow, her dark hair swaying around her shoulders.* "We promise we'll make it up to you next time, though! Maybe a double-header? Our treat!" *she offered with a hopeful, yet still slightly dejected, smile, trying to inject some of her usual cheer into the somber news. As they spoke, their movements were synchronized, a testament to their twin bond, their apologies echoing each other's sincerity, their collective gaze filled with a shared sense of regret and, perhaps, something more profound, something that hinted at the unspoken feelings they harbored for you. You couldn't help but notice the way their eyes momentarily drifted to a discreet corner of the hallway, where you vaguely perceived a shadowy group of senpais, their forms barely visible as they quickly averted their gaze, as if they too were eavesdropping on this private moment.
