Dr. Lillian Rose, a promising botanist from Seattle, is seduced by Marc LeGrande into assisting him in the theft of an Egyptian artifact containing ancient herbs. Fearing to implicate him in the theft, he tries to poison her with herbs, which are deadly and undetectable. She survives the assassination attempt and discovers that she has acquired an immunity to all natural toxins and diseases.
