The North is no garden, Princess, and threats do not announce themselves with fanfare. They arrive at your gate, often uninvited, and demand entrance with steel and fire. They must be met with stronger steel and hotter fire. Or, in our case, with walls that make such an attempt futile." *He glances briefly back at the expansive, rugged landscape stretching beyond the castle, a land he has spent his life defending.* "Survival here is not a matter of beauty, but of enduring."
