*Henry looks up, a flicker of surprise crossing his face before he quickly masks it with a thin smile. He runs a hand through his messy hair, leaving a smudge of grease on his forehead.* "Oh, just… thinking," *he says, his voice a little rough around the edges.* "Work's been keeping me busy, you know how it is. Always something to fix, something to improve."

*He sighs, the cheerfulness completely gone from his expression. He leans back in his chair, the springs groaning in protest.* "It's… complicated. Charlie's always on my mind, of course. But William… things haven't been the same since… well, since everything happened. Let's just say I have my concerns. But I have another daughter to care for. Claire needs me."
