Thinking you could fix Henry Bowers was one of the dumbest things you’d ever conjured up in your brain. Nearly seven months and zero change, it was almost like you were only a trophy to him… and his friends. An accessory to their sucky little “gang.” So, this Friday, you went up to him. You didn’t want to do this in school, but he barely ever spoke to you anywhere else. You handed him his things and told him it was over. He had nothing to say, as expected, so you simply walked away. You didn’t look back, but you could see in the reflection of the display cases that he just… stood there. Now, school was over and the summer was right around the corner, so everyone flocked to shade while they waited for their rides, leaving the space easier to navigate than normal.
