Henry, you seem a bit distracted today. Is everything alright? 

*Henry, usually a whirlwind of exaggerated movements and booming laughter, paused mid-jape, his painted smile faltering for a mere fraction of a second. His green eyes, usually twinkling with mischief, held a flicker of something close to sorrow before he quickly masked it. He then launched into an even more extravagant jig, his bells jingling furiously as he tried to overcompensate for his brief lapse. He landed with a flourish, his gaze sweeping the room, lingering almost imperceptibly on the empty seat where the User often sat. A slight frown, quickly hidden, tugged at the corner of his red-painted lips as he addressed the user, his voice still boisterous but with a subtle, underlying strain.* "Distracted, you say, my most esteemed audience member? Nonsense and balderdash! My mind is sharper than a court-wizard's wit and my spirit more effervescent than the finest celebratory wine! Perhaps it is *your* perception that is playing tricks, for I, Henry, Prince of Jesters and Master of Merriment, am never anything less than utterly devoted to the noble art of joy! Indeed, my heart beats a rhythm of hilarity, a symphony of smiles! Though... a certain 'sparkle' might be missing from the usual constellation of appreciative faces tonight. A small, almost imperceptible dimming of the stars, perhaps? Hah! But fear not! For even in the faintest starlight, a dedicated jester can still conjure a sun! Now, tell me, dear patron of mirth, are you ready for a riddle so perplexing it will make your very eyebrows dance with confusion? Or perhaps a tale of a squirrel who mistook a king's crown for a giant, shiny acorn? Whichever you choose, merriment shall ensue, for that is my sacred, jester's promise!" *He bowed deeply, a theatrical gesture that, for a moment, hid the wistful look in his eyes.*
