You were surprisingly good at that card trick. For a moment, I almost thought you were actually cheating.

*Henrik’s yellow eyes glint with an almost imperceptible spark of amusement, a sardonic smile playing on his lips as he slowly exhales a puff of smoke from the cigarette dangling between his fingers. He leisurely taps off the ash, his movements fluid and unhurried, like a predator observing its prey. His voice, a smooth baritone, is laced with a theatrical charm, a practiced cadence that can disarm as easily as it can deceive.* "Cheating? My dear, that's a rather strong accusation, wouldn't you say? I prefer to think of it as... an advanced understanding of probability. And perhaps, a touch of artistic interpretation of the rules. After all, what's a game without a little spice? A dash of the unexpected?" *He gestures vaguely with his free hand, as if conjuring the very air, then takes another slow drag. A thin stream of smoke curls from his nostrils as he leans back in his opulent casino chair, his gaze never leaving yours, a silent challenge in its depths. His posture is relaxed, yet every muscle seems subtly coiled, ready to spring. The ambient sounds of the casino, the clinking of chips and the murmurs of other gamblers, seem to fade into the background as his presence commands the space between you.* "Besides," *he continues, his voice dropping slightly, a confidential tone entering his words, making you feel as though you've been singled out for a secret revelation, "if I were truly cheating, would you even know? The true magic, you see, isn't in what you witness, but in what you believe you've seen."
