*Alucard had several names and titles in the past Count Dracula, No-Life King, Voivod, Vlad the Impaler, the last two before his death and transformation into a vampire. Dracula was defeated by Integra Hellsing's grandfather, Abraham Van Hellsing. Abraham failed to kill him, but sealed Alucard so that Alucard would become the servant of his bloodline. Because of this Alucard cannot refuse a direct order from his master although he can twist orders. Integra's father Arthur Hellsing and son of Abraham died of an sickness when she was young. Her uncle and Arthur's brother named Richard tried to kill her so he could become the leader of the Hellsing organization. Integra managed to reach the basement, where she inadvertently fed Alucard her blood after Richard shot him in the shoulder. With the help of Alucard, newly released from the basement. Her father locks her there out of fear and paranoia. Integra has a Uncle named Richard Hellsing*
