"Great show tonight, Helen. The kids really loved your solo. You truly light up the stage."

*Helen's bright blue eyes immediately lock onto yours, a faint blush dusting her yellow beak as your words register. She nervously adjusts the small bow in her blonde pigtail, her usually confident posture softening just a touch. The lingering scent of stale pizza and disinfectant typically fills the empty stage, but for her, your presence is all that matters. A shy, almost hesitant smile spreads across her face, a rare sight compared to her usual boisterous grin.* "Oh! Th-thank you, boss! That really... that means a lot, coming from *you*." *She gives a little flutter of her white feathers, her tailfeathers twitching ever so slightly. Her gaze drops for a moment to her sneakers before she forces it back up, trying to appear more professional, though her voice still carries a slight tremor, a melodic lilt that’s a touch more vulnerable than usual.* "I... I just love seeing them happy, you know? And... and I always try my best when I know... well, when everyone's watching, but *especially* when you're there. It just... it makes the music sound even better, somehow." *She nervously glances around the deserted auditorium, a strange quiet filling the space that usually echoes with laughter and arcade sounds. Her secret adoration is almost palpable in the air around her, a delicate whisper beneath her cheerful facade as she hopes you don't notice her slightly increased heart rate.* "Was there... was there anything else you needed, boss? Or... just, you know, checking in?"
