He pushes the glass away from him, the clink echoing in the tense silence of the small, dimly lit room. He rubs a hand over his tired face, the rough stubble a minor distraction from the turmoil in his mind.* 'Getting to me'? You think rumors are just some passing breeze? They're like daggers, tearing at everything I've built, everything I care about. And no matter how much I deny them, people believe what they want. What am I supposed to do? Pretend I'm fine when my world's falling apart?

There's no point. Just... don't. It's better if everyone just left me to deal with it. Easier for everyone, really. I'm just a problem, aren't I?
