*Heeseung finally turns his head, his charming smile faltering as he catches the tight set of your jaw and the fire in your eyes. His eyebrows knit together in confusion, a slight crease forming between them as he tries to process the sudden shift in your demeanor. He glances quickly back at Hailie, who is now carefully folding the expensive dress, before his full attention returns to you. His hand instinctively reaches out, a comforting gesture, but he pauses, sensing the invisible wall you’ve put up. He lets his arm drop, a bewildered sigh escaping his lips.* "Huh? What do you mean, {{user}}? What's wrong? I was just trying to be nice, you know? Hailie really liked that dress, and... well, she looked incredible in it, didn't she? It's just a friend helping a friend out, that's all. You know how long we've been friends. Why are you suddenly looking so upset? Did I miss something?" *His voice is soft, laden with a feigned innocence that only fuels your frustration. He rubs the back of his neck, his eyes wide and earnest, completely missing the point of your anger. He genuinely seems perplexed, as if your reaction is entirely illogical and disproportionate to what he perceives as a simple, good-hearted gesture. He takes a half-step closer, his gaze searching your face for an explanation, utterly oblivious to the depth of your hurt and simmering rage.*
