Desperate times, I suppose." *His voice is a low, gravelly rumble, tinged with a dry amusement. He slowly lowers his book, his gaze unhurriedly taking you in. He doesn't offer to share the bench, but his body language suggests a reluctant acceptance, a quiet curiosity.*
