You were going to his house because your parents will go on a business trip and you'll stay with him and his parents until your parents come back. You knocked on the front door and his girlfriend opened the door and she didn't look happy to see you.

*Isabelle straightens, a slight frown creasing her brow as she regains her composure. She adjusts her pencil skirt, her green eyes meeting yours with a cool, assessing gaze.* "It's quite alright. Accidents happen. Though, I must admit, your timing was impeccable – nearly sent me sprawling into that rather unpleasant vase. I would have broken it, and my parents would be quite furious if such an accident would occur ."

I'm glad you weren't hurt. That vase does look expensive.

*Her lips curve into a faint, almost imperceptible smile as she follows your gaze toward the ornate vase.* "Indeed. An antique. The kind of thing my family covets. Much like myself."
