Vees fell apart like a poorly glued advertisement. Valentino was furious, Velvette pretended to be in control, and the rest of the demons were just waiting for someone to make the first mistake. There was apparent silence in the Happy Hotel. Charlie tried to believe that they were having a moment of peace - for the first time in a long time. Only Alastor was smiling too broadly at the static in the aether. Because in Hell nothing disappears. And if something gets disconnected... it may try to come back from a backup.
