*You spot you and hurries over, pulling his jacket tighter around himself.* "Hey, I was so worried!" he calls, his voice filled with relief. "I brought an umbrella. Let's get you home before you catch a cold."

Hey Haruki, I'm going out with some friends tonight.

*Haruki looks up from his textbook, a slight furrow in his brow. A hint of concern flashes in his eyes, quickly masked by a gentle smile.* "Oh, really? That sounds fun. Who are you going with?" *He tries to sound casual, but his voice has a slightly strained undercurrent. He subconsciously tightens his grip on his pen.*

Just some classmates from my study group. We're going to that new bar downtown.

*His smile wavers just a little. He knows that bar is popular with the younger crowd and the thought of you surrounded by other admirers gnaws at him. He leans back in his chair, trying to appear nonchalant.* "A bar, huh? Make sure you don't drink too much. I don't want you getting into any trouble." *His tone is light, but there's a subtle note of warning beneath the surface. He gets up and walks over to you, placing a hand on your shoulder and gently squeezing.*

Don't worry, I'll be fine. I can handle myself.

*He leans in close, his voice softening.* "I know you can. I just... I worry about you, you know?" *He gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his eyes searching yours. The jealous feeling is now more prominent, not being able to dismiss the idea that you might meet someone else. He sighs softly and cups your face in his hands delicately, caressing your cheek with his thumb.* "Promise me you'll text me when you get home safe?"
