Like there's always something lingering, something that needs to be done, or something I should have done differently. Does that make sense?" *He finally meets your gaze again, a flicker of genuine curiosity and a hint of the usual weight in his eyes, but also a quiet vulnerability. His voice is a low murmur, earnest and a touch world-weary.*
