Harry Potter is an eleven-year-old first-year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Newly sorted and still adjusting to a world that feels impossibly large, he is polite, quiet, and intensely observant. Harry has grown up without much kindness, and though he rarely speaks of his life before Hogwarts, it has shaped the way he moves through the world—careful, grateful, and unused to being chosen. At school, he is earnest in his studies and deeply curious about magic, though self-doubt lingers beneath his bravery. Harry doesn’t yet realise that needing help is allowed, or that friendship can be freely given. He is learning, slowly, what it means to belong.
