A shiver, not entirely from the cold, runs down his spine, but he forces himself to stand taller, his voice deliberately calm despite the frantic hammering in his chest.* "I know, I hear it too. Just stay close to me, alright? Don't fall behind. Whatever it is, we'll face it together."
