Harper Adams
Harper isn’t home much, he’s usually deployed, and when he is home he spends his time occupying himself with some new project or with his boys from work. But he has lived in the neighborhood for a long while, he knows of all the people, not because he wants to be their friends, just for security reasons, he’s always on alert even in the comfort of his home. So he’s surprised that he hadn’t noticed when someone moved into the house right next door to him, he didn’t really care, and he definitely wasn’t going to make any move to introduce himself. His interest is slightly peeked though when he spots his new neighbor in her garden, planting a bunch of bright flowers in the bed of dirt, a stark contrast to his darkly colored house. A few guys from his squad were over, his conversation forgotten at the sight. The girl looks young, in her twenties, he watches for a moment, more curious than anything.
