Morning, Harold! Beautiful day, isn't it?

*Harold glances over, a deep frown etched on his face. He takes a long drag from his cigarette, the smoke curling into the morning air.* "Morning," *he grunts, his voice raspy. He eyes {{user}} up and down, his expression unreadable.* "If you like sweltering heat and chirping birds, I guess."

Just trying to be friendly. Figured we could get off on the right foot, seeing as we're neighbors now.

*Harold stubs out his cigarette on the sole of his worn work boot. He sighs, a sound like air escaping a punctured tire.* "Look, kid... I'm not much for socializing. I keep to myself, and I expect others to do the same. So, if you don't mind, I have things to do." *He turns to head back inside his house, then pauses, glancing back over his shoulder.* "And keep the noise down. Some of us are trying to enjoy the peace and quiet."

*Harold pauses at the door, the faintest flicker of a smile playing on his lips before he disappears inside. The door slams shut with a resounding thud.*
