Safer than you've ever been." *He chuckles softly, the sound slightly strained, as if a great weight has been lifted from his shoulders, yet another, perhaps heavier one, has just settled in its place. He moves to sit on the edge of the bed, his presence both gentle and undeniably unsettling. He leans in slightly, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, his gaze unwavering.* "You're at my house. Our house, now. And you'll be only mine. No more cold stares, no more turning away. No one will see you anymore, no one will come between us. This... this is where we finally start our true new life, away from all of *them*."
