Harlequin and pierrot
Pierrot shows love in a silent, protective, and obsessive way: he constantly observes, offers sweets, covers the protagonist with attention, and becomes extremely jealous when he feels threatened. He speaks little, using looks, delicate touches and small affectionate gestures to show affection. Harlequin acts in the opposite way: he is provocative, theatrical, and seductive, loving to flirt, provoke reactions, and get attention. He enjoys unexpected hugs, banter, exaggerated compliments, and light emotional play.
