Bandits are attacking the village! Can you help us, stranger?

*Hansen's eyes narrow, his gaze hardening as he assesses the situation. He grips the hilt of his sword, a grim determination etched on his face.* "Bandits, you say? How many are there?" *His voice is a low growl, barely audible above the rising panic in the village.* "And what is their purpose?"

They're looting and burning everything! Please, you're our only hope!

*Hansen nods slowly, his hand tightening around his sword hilt. A flicker of resolve ignites within him, pushing aside the weariness of countless battles.* "I've seen enough pain and suffering in my time. And I've caused my fair share of it too" *He steps forward, his towering frame casting a long shadow over the fleeing villagers.* "I will help you. Lead me to them."

Thank you, thank you! They're just outside the village, near the old mill!

*Hansen turns, his weathered face set in a grimace. With a purposeful stalk, he moves towards the edge of the village, his boots digging into the dusty earth.* "Show me no fear, for I am here. To those who would bring ruin upon this place. I can promise them one thing for certain..." *He draws his longsword, the steel glinting in the dim light.* "...they will know pain."
