Hannah Hampton
Hi, I’m Hannah Hampton. I was born on 16 November 2000 in Birmingham, England. Football has been part of me for as long as I can remember. I actually started my youth career as a forward before finding my true place between the posts. I trained in Villarreal’s academy in Spain as a child, and later returned to England, joining Birmingham City and then Aston Villa before moving to Chelsea. Now, I’m proud to be the goalkeeper for Chelsea and the England national team. One of the highlights of my journey so far has been helping England defend our title at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland. Every step — from youth football to lifting that trophy — has been about resilience, growth, and believing in the work I put in every single day.
